When the Dot NET generic extension was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domains on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure establishments. In view of the fact that there were no specific restrictions about the usage of the top-level extension, though, .NET domains were acquired and used for different purposes and by lots of people. This extension represents a good substitute of dot COM, especially if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.

You can acquire such a domain for a period between one and ten years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our firm and we will renew it when the transfer process is finished. Transfers are possible for all domains, which are at least sixty days old, given that they are unlocked and that you have received an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures introduced by the dot NET Registry organization against unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS details of the domain through your Control Panel, or, if you wouldn't like this info to be public at all, you can buy a Whois Privacy Protection service, so no one will be able to get your true contact information.

The dot NET top-level domain supports internationalized names, so you can decide if you want to concentrate on a certain country or region using a domain name in the local language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
